ICBA and Foreword Financial Partner For Community Banker Education
Five Joint Manager-Level Conferences Planned
Washington, D.C. (June 30, 2005) - The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and Foreword Financial, a Pompano Beach, Fla., provider of financial-services education forums, are combining efforts to conduct five professional development conferences in 2005 and 2006 for community bank managers.
"With ICBA and Foreword Financial teaming up, community bankers can rest assured these conferences will be time well spent away from the office," said Greg Martinson, ICBA director of education. "Combining practical, easy-to-apply information with sophisticated discussions to stimulate strategic action, they will be must-attend educational events for any community banker who wants to have the best knowledge available about their industry and management areas."
Starting in September, the conferences will provide timely instruction and strategic insights on technology, sales management, outsourcing, mortgage lending and bank card operations. Each conference is geared toward busy managers working in a community bank environment.
The joint ICBA-Foreword Financial conferences are scheduled for these dates and locations:
- The Bank Card Conference on Sept. 18-20, 2005, in Memphis, Tenn.
- The Mortgage Management Conference on Nov. 15-17, 2005, in Memphis, Tenn.
- The Bank Outsourcing Forum on April 5, 2006, in Orlando, Fla.
- The Bank Technology Convention on April 5-7, 2006, in Orlando, Fla.
- The Sales Management Conference on May 7-9, 2006, in Orlando, Fla.
