ICBA Statement on Rep. Paul Gillmor

Washington, D.C. (Sept. 5, 2007)—Camden R. Fine, president and CEO of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), issued the following statement upon the untimely passing of Rep. Paul Gillmor (R-Ohio).

"The Independent Community Bankers of America is saddened by the passing of Congressman Paul Gillmor. Our hearts go out to his family. Representative Gillmor was a great friend to community banking. We appreciate his leadership and contributions during his many years in Congress. He was a wonderful man to work with and will be missed in the halls of Congress as well as in his home state of Ohio."
