ICBA Launches Community Banker Today®

New Interactive Website Features Latest on Community Banking Industry

Washington, D.C. (June 1, 2011)-The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) today announced the launch of its new website to provide community bankers and others with breaking news and in-depth coverage on the community banking industry. Community Banker Today® (http://www.communitybankertoday.com/) was developed by ICBA to be the one-stop source for news, information and in-depth analysis on Main Street community banks.

"ICBA is thrilled to announce the launch of Community Banker Today®," ICBA Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Chris Lorence said. "This new interactive website will complement the publications, social-media tools and other informative resources ICBA provides to community bankers and friends of Main Street."

In addition to news and analysis from ICBA, Community Banker Today® also offers the latest from Congress, the administration, regulators and other news organizations on issues relevant to the community banking industry. The interactive website features RSS feeds that visitors can use to track updates, as well as a mobile version to make the site easier to access on portable electronic devices.

ICBA updates Community Banker Today® daily and throughout the day to provide the latest news and information on community banking and other financial services areas. The site is publicly available, and readers can register to provide comments on articles and commentary.
