ICBA Selects WNC Insurance Services as Preferred Service Provider for Flood Compliance, Insurance and Outsourcing
Washington, D.C. (June 30, 2010)—The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) today announced that it has selected private lender placed flood pioneer WNC Insurance Services, Inc. as a Preferred Service Provider for flood compliance, flood zone determination, insurance and outsourcing solutions.
“With pending initiatives to reauthorize and reform the National Flood Insurance Program, constantly changing flood maps, and shifting guidelines from regulatory agencies, it is no wonder a community bank might feel uncertain about its flood compliance process and insurance protection,” said Dan Clancy, ICBA senior vice president of services. “As an ICBA Preferred Service Provider, WNC’s ONEFlood™ program and its comprehensive package of products and services will help ICBA member community banks manage the flood risks in their mortgage portfolios.”
For nearly 30 years, WNC has provided flood products including flood zone determinations, lender placed flood insurance, compliance assistance and insurance tracking and timely updates on changing flood laws. With WNC’s ONEFlood™ program, a bank will receive the latest flood news, compliance assistance, guaranteed flood determinations, and immediate flood coverage for exposed properties in its loan portfolio.
WNC’s President and CEO Bill Keeler says, “WNC is eager to share our expertise with ICBA and provide its members with innovative and guaranteed flood products. WNC delivers flood services and compliance that ensure the best protection for community banks. We are proud to be an ICBA Preferred Service Provider and look forward to bringing our flood program to its member banks.”
