Orlando, Fla. (March 18, 2010)—The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) today launched the ICBA Community Bank Career Center, an online interactive job board that is focused exclusively on the career needs of community bankers.

“ICBA, the nation’s voice for community banks, is pleased to launch the first-ever online community bank-focused job board,” said R. Michael Menzies, ICBA chairman and president and CEO of Easton Bank and Trust Co., Easton, Md. “This new interactive career center will undoubtedly be a valuable resource for community bankers in helping them attract talent with a streamlined approach.”

ICBA’s Community Bank Career Center is the most comprehensive resource for community banking jobs nationwide. Features of the site include free and confidential resume posting, job search control, easy job application and the ability to save up to 100 jobs. Job seekers can also sign up to receive automatic e-mail notifications when new jobs that match their selected criteria are posted.

Employers that post positions on ICBA’s Community Bank Career Center will build company awareness with unmatched exposure for job listings, easy online job management and resume-searching access. Job postings receive further exposure through Arbita and GO Jobs as well as other job site aggregators like Google Base, Indeed.com and simplyhired.com.
