FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ICBA Insurance Endorsed by Independent Community Bankers of North Dakota

Washington, D.C. (July 28, 2004) - ICBA Insurance Services, the ICBA Services Networks' newest subsidiary company, which launched in February, announced today that it has received the endorsement of the Independent Community Bankers Association of North Dakota (ICBND).

ICBA Insurance Services, through its strategic alliance with Iroquois Group of Olean, N.Y., provides the property and casualty insurance agencies of member banks with access to additional P&C carriers with lower volume commitments, competitive commission rates, and profit sharing opportunities.

"The launch of ICBA Insurance Services comes at a critical time for bank-owned agencies in North Dakota," stated Don Forsberg, executive vice president of ICBND. "The property and casualty insurance market in North Dakota has been hit hard in recent years with resulting market pullback. This has resulted in many bank-owned agencies having greater demand, but not the products to provide to their customers. ICBA Insurance Services is positioned to help community bank agencies gain access to products and markets that have been off limits to them."

"We have already seen significant interest from bank-owned insurance agencies in North Dakota," said Robert Stallings, ICBA Insurance Services business development officer for North Dakota and the Midwest. "ICBND's endorsement should help us work quickly to sign up a critical mass of these agencies to work with the carriers to access the products they need."
