Washington, D.C. (June 11, 2007)—ICBA Bancard, the payment services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), today announced its new affiliation with the Community Bankers of Wisconsin, the independent community bank organization headquartered in Madison, WI. The agreement will make ICBA Bancard the preferred provider for debit card solutions among over 230 community banks in the state of Wisconsin.
"This is really a great development for Wisconsin's community banks," remarked Daryll Lund, president and CEO of Community Bankers of Wisconsin. "Our members gain access to a wide array of vital debit operations from an organization that consistently and effectively promotes community banking interests. We are very excited at the growth opportunities that will undoubtedly result."
"Community bankers in Wisconsin will definitely have new opportunities to expand their EFT programs with ICBA Bancard's exceptional debit offerings," said Charles Saeman, president and CEO of State Bank of Cross Plains in Cross Plains, WI. "We were looking for more debit functionality. For example, we were particularly pleased that ICBA Bancard's debit-processing solutions will now allow our customers to change their own PINs, which was simply not possible under our previous provider."
The member banks of the Community Bankers of Wisconsin join a large network of community banks nationwide relying on ICBA Bancard for comprehensive card management tools ranging from card issuance to turnkey operational support, including the exclusive ICBA Bancard Fraud Loss Protection program.
