ICBA’s Jorde to Testify on Industrial Loan Corporations
Washington, D.C. July 10, 2006—The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) will testify before the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit on Wednesday, July 12 at a hearing called to examine industrial loan corporations (ILC). ICBA has been the leading advocate for maintaining the separation of banking and commerce by closing the ILC loophole and commends Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.) chairman of the subcommittee, for calling this important hearing.
