ICBA Unveils the My ICBA Mobile App
Mobile app gives community banks mobile access to ICBA resources
Washington, D.C. (August 5, 2013)—Are you a community banker who wants your voice to be heard in Washington? If so, there’s now an app for that. The Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA) today announced the launch of its mobile app, My ICBA. The goal of My ICBA is to enhance ICBA members’ mobile experience and to provide them with easy access to ICBA’s extensive library of membership resources. My ICBA is a convenient way to stay connected anywhere and anytime to the association’s advocacy successes, educational courses and networking events.
"The My ICBA mobile app was developed to help meet the increasing mobile needs of the nation’s nearly 7,000 community bankers," ICBA Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Chris Lorence said. "More community bankers are relying on smartphones, tablets and other wireless devices to access information. ICBA is thrilled to provide its members with mobile access to association resources and to further expand the positive message community banks share."
With ICBA's digital community following growing dramatically, the mobile app enables ICBA members to interact easily through social media platforms. The app provides community bankers from around the country with the opportunity to connect, develop and learn from their peers with a simple swipe of their finger on their phone.
The new mobile app features:
- Access to ICBA education opportunities, the ICBA Compliance Toolkit and the digital version of ICBA Independent Banker® magazine;
- Information about upcoming events;
- Contact information from the ICBA staff directory;
- The latest ICBA news;
- Customized in-app alerts;
- The latest research and advocacy materials; and
- The ability to join the ICBA digital conversations via Twitter feed, LinkedIn group or Facebook page.
