Length: 60 minutes

The community bank mergers and acquisitions market was hot the second half of 2012. This trend will continue through 2013. Most community banks will have an opportunity to capitalize on some type of strategic transaction this year, whether it be buying another bank or selling their own institution. This audio conference will prepare institutions for that opportunity. The conference will present an overview of the current community bank mergers and acquisitions market, the directors' duties in considering a merger or acquisition transaction, how to properly value either your organization or a target and will discuss in detail "hot topic" issues from today's acquisitions environment. This hour long presentation will be full of practical advice, and will discuss specific examples from deals happening in today's market. The presentation will be appropriate for the directors, officers or any other member of the community bank's team that is responsible for making strategic decisions as they relate to mergers and acquisitions.
