The examination process for compliance issues has moved from a supervisory approach to one of enforcement.

As a result, examination "gotchas" can result in civil money penalties, restitution and referrals to the Department of Justice.

In this 60 minute audio conference we will walk through certain of the recent gotchas from examinations, as well as what the regulators are doing from the perspective of the most significant compliance issues, including fair lending, UDAAP and third-party relationships. Unlike presentations by regulators, the speakers will seek to provide what the regulators are doing.

Presenters:

Peter G. Weinstock, Partner, Hunton & Williams
Peter's practice focuses on corporate and regulatory representation of small ($10-15 million) to mid-size (several billion dollars) financial institutions.

John J. Delionado, Partner, Hunton & Williams
John's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on internal investigations and cyber security matters. He regularly represents financial institutions in complex regulatory enforcement matters and putative class actions.
