This audio conference is the third in a three part series to assist community bankers with the changes to the Early Truth in Lending disclosures, Higher Price Mortgage Loans and the RESPA changes effective in 2010. This audio conference will help compliance professionals, lending personnel and management understand the nuances to the fundamentally game-changing reform to the mortgage lending process. Due to participant demand, this session has been expanded beyond the traditional 60 minute time frame to accommodate the volume of questions that are anticipated.

Some of the highlights we will cover during this conference include:

RESPA Reform with Focus on GFE and HUD-1 - We will discuss in detail the published rules and FAQ's. Beyond a review of the extensive (and often confusing) public guidance from HUD, we will also consider practical issues for community banks that will need to be addressed before implementation of the new rules January 1, 2010.

Regulation Z High Priced Mortgage Loan (HPML) Requirements - We will revisit key concepts still being debated in the industry and address any new regulatory publication since the adoption of the final rule.

MDIA/Early TIL Rules - We will cover some questions that have become popular at community banks since the inception of these new delivery rules.

Speaker: David Bequeaith, Principal,Bequeaith Banking Solutions, LLC, is a highly experienced trainer and long-time advocate for community banks in the areas of regulatory compliance and credit management. He has written and instructed the ICBA's Compliance Institute since 1994 and also facilitates the ICBA's Annual Certification Conference and Bank Secrecy Act Professional certification program.
