Washington, D.C (May 15, 2018)— ICBA Bancard®, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), today announced that its credit card bank, TCM Bank, N.A., is celebrating its 20th anniversary this week.

Through its Total Card Management® program, TCM Bank offers professionally managed and fully branded consumer and business agent credit card programs and has nearly 750 financial institution partnerships. In total TCM Bank serves more than 315,000 customers nationwide. TCM is the largest purchaser of credit card portfolios in the industry dedicated exclusively to serving community banks.

“TCM Bank gives community banks like mine the opportunity to offer our customers the convenience and payment flexibility of credit cards without the associated risk or expense of a direct issuer,” said Noah Wilcox, TCM Bank chairman and president, CEO and chairman of Grand Rapids State Bank in Grand Rapids, Minn. “Because of TCM’s commitment to replicating the community bank’s service levels, we’re able to grow this business line and strengthen our customer relationships.”

TCM assumes all risk associated with card issuance and is responsible for customer related-support and guarantees not to cross-sell other financial products or services to the customers of its client banks.

“ICBA congratulates TCM Bank on this momentous milestone,” said ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey. “Payments is an increasingly important offering that customers have come to expect from their community bank, and TCM will continue to be a leader in this space, helping community banks flourish and evolve through creative partnerships and innovation.”

“We are proud of our success and the faith our community bank partners have entrusted in TCM as the representative of their brand,” said TCM Bank President and CEO Damon Moorer. “As we reflect on our past achievements and celebrate this milestone, we also look forward to the development of new programs and products that will deliver an enriched payments experience for community bank customers.”

Recently, TCM added the Visa Signature® Travel Consumer Credit Card to its suite of credit card offerings, which also includes a robust line of small business credit card products. TCM’s chip-enabled cards support mobile payments and Visa Checkout®. In addition, TCM offers turnkey marketing and promotions, a dedicated client relations team, staff training and compliance support, along with an inhouse Customer Contact Center to create a fully branded customer experience that elevates the community bank’s identity within the local community.
