Washington, D.C. (August 3, 2017)—ICBA Bancard®, the payment services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), announced today it will offer a fast and simple solution for the real-time posting of payments to community banks and their small business customers through its payments platform powered by linked2pay, the California-based creator of Bank Centric Payments. The partnership, originally announced in March by ICBA Bancard and linked2pay, provides community banks with a white label solution that helps their small business customers manage cashflow and receivables through a single platform approach for the delivery of payment solutions.

“By leveraging the existing ICBA Bancard/linked2pay partnership and technology, community banks will be able to bring a real-time payments experience to their small business customers through our new real-time payments functionality, enabling small businesses to better manage their cashflow,” said ICBA Bancard President and CEO Tina Giorgio. “As the premier payments solution for community banks, ICBA Bancard is pleased to offer community banks a new solution that will help them better serve their small business customers and further establish community banks as the go to partner for small business payments solutions.”

Through linked2pay’s new real-time posting of funds functionality, community banks and their clients can immediately send and receive vendor payments, commission payouts and other payment forms and send or receive real-time payments via email or an application programming interface. Upon acceptance, the payment posts in less than a second.

linked2pay’s Bank Centric Payments platform offers ICBA Bancard clients and their small business customers an easily deployed, risk-managed environment for the registration, underwriting and delivery of Automated Clearing House, real-time payments, remote deposit capture and card payment transactions through a cloud-based system. The platform gives community banks access to a highly-scalable payments platform without the operational burdens and costs associated with building their own platform.

“We are excited to build on our relationship with ICBA Bancard and offer its member banks the necessary tools to underwrite and on-board business payment clients,” said linked2pay CEO and Chairman Jay McShirley.
