Calling Officer

Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the largest national trade association representing community banks, is seeking an experienced sales representative to expand ICBA membership, and to promote and market ICBA’s large suite of product and services solutions to both member banks and non-members. The position will be based within the assigned territory (which includes Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky), and requires frequent travel to visit financial institutions throughout the assigned territory.

The position requires a BA degree, plus a minimum of 5 years financial services sales experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to outstanding member/client service; strong attention to detail; ability to build relationships and close sales; and both willingness and availability to travel frequently throughout the region are essential. The ideal candidate will have established senior level contacts in community banks within the assigned territory.

Market Business Analyst

Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the largest national trade association representing community banks, is seeking a Business Analyst to provide data analysis to aide in identifying new opportunities for ICBA’s services. This position will also provide information and insights regarding members, markets, and competitors, to measure performance and support business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and managing various research projects. The position will report directly to the CFO of ICBA/COO of the Services Network. The incumbent will identify and utilize financial, industry, and operational data to deliver information that will direct business decisions, will be an active participant in high-level planning and management decisions, and will trouble-shoot various issues as the representative of the CFO.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and organize management and business information, industry data, and collect data on the performance quality of applications, testing, and data services against prescribed metrics and benchmarks
  • Support CFO and program leaders on budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and long-term financial planning
  • Provide market research services to support new product development, marketing, and venture management
  • Conduct market research to: analyze competitors, determine brand perceptions; understand customer needs
  • Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationship between marketing action and financial outcomes to increase profitability
  • Complete competitive analysis to maintain our competitive advantage
  • Provide ROI analysis of all marketing campaigns and sales activities
  • Identify new sales opportunities amongst both current members and non-members
  • Support ICBA’s advocacy efforts through analysis of bank and industry data

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred) with 5+ years financial data analysis
  • Ability to integrate, analyze, and present data from multiple systems and sources in an accessible manner
  • Experience with business planning, forecasting, statistical analysis and budgeting
  • High proficiency with Excel, Access, Business Objects, Crystal reports, and SQL
  • Excellent critical thinking skills including attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, communicate (written and verbal), and strong multi-tasking skills
  • Functions well both individually and as part of a closely collaborative unit
  • Ability to remain flexible and exercise sound judgment amid changing priorities and deadlines

Member Data Specialist

Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the largest national trade association representing community banks, is seeking a Member Data Specialist in Sauk Centre, MN. The position produces reports from various data sources and supplies that information to member banks. This person will collaborate with end users to determine their reporting needs, in order to design or create queries to extract the desired data.

Primary duties include complying data and computing statistics, validating external data sources, working closely with end users to create and modify reports, answering general questions about processes and procedures, and assisting with and resolving database control issues.

Requirements

  • A two-year or four-year degree, preferably in a field related to database administration
  • Three to five years of database experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; knowledge of Crystal Reports and SalesForce strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL including queries, stored procedures, DTS packages; knowledge of SSRS strongly preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of relational database theory is helpful, with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to take ownership of routine job duties and assignments independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.

Member Relations Suppport (Part Time)

Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the largest national trade association representing community banks, is seeking a Member Relations Support in Sauk Centre, MN. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the Member Relations outreach programs, database file maintenance for ICBA's central membership databases, and other database projects and end-user support.

Primary duties include maintaining the mailing schedule, assisting with all member outreach programs, assisting and providing backup for billing, running and distributing reports, and filing.

Requirements

  • A two-year degree in a field related to database administration
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Requires strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Requires detail oriented work ethic with a history of thorough and accurate work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service
  • Ability to take ownership of routine job duties and assignments independently with minimal supervision.
