Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the largest national trade association representing community banks, is seeking an experienced sales representative to expand ICBA membership, and to promote and market ICBA’s large suite of product and services solutions to both member banks and non-members. The position will be based within the assigned territory (which includes Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky), and requires frequent travel to visit financial institutions throughout the assigned territory. The position requires a BA degree, plus a minimum of 5 years financial services sales experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to outstanding member/client service; strong attention to detail; ability to build relationships and close sales; and both willingness and availability to travel frequently throughout the region are essential. The ideal candidate will have established senior level contacts in community banks within the assigned territory. This position will also provide information and insights regarding members, markets, and competitors, to measure performance and support business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and managing various research projects. The position will report directly to the CFO of ICBA/COO of the Services Network. The incumbent will identify and utilize financial, industry, and operational data to deliver information that will direct business decisions, will be an active participant in high-level planning and management decisions, and will trouble-shoot various issues as the representative of the CFO. The position produces reports from various data sources and supplies that information to member banks. This person will collaborate with end users to determine their reporting needs, in order to design or create queries to extract the desired data. Primary duties include complying data and computing statistics, validating external data sources, working closely with end users to create and modify reports, answering general questions about processes and procedures, and assisting with and resolving database control issues. Member Relations Suppport (Part Time) Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), the largest national trade association representing community banks, is seeking a Member Relations Support in Sauk Centre, MN. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the Member Relations outreach programs, database file maintenance for ICBA's central membership databases, and other database projects and end-user support. Primary duties include maintaining the mailing schedule, assisting with all member outreach programs, assisting and providing backup for billing, running and distributing reports, and filing.
