Renee Rappaport is first vice president of congressional relations for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA). She advocates ICBA’s policy priorities with members of the U.S. Senate.
Rappaport has over two decades of experience representing the business interests of prominent associations before the U.S. Congress. Before joining ICBA, Rappaport served as senior director of government affairs for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and as legislative director for housing and budget at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
Prior to becoming a lobbyist, Rappaport spent 10 years on Capitol Hill. She held various legislative positions for members of Congress, including Rep. Mike Espy (Miss.) and Sen. Richard Bryan (Nev.) Rappaport received a BA in political science from Northeastern University and did graduate work in political science at Penn State University.
