Part Four of a four-part audio conference series designed specifically for community bankers.
Much attention has been, and will continue to be paid to the changing compliance environment and additional burdens that are being placed upon banks, both large and small. As these evolving compliance standards and burdens are being implemented it has become clear that bank directors, including outside directors, are being held to a much higher standard with regard to the knowledge they are expected to maintain and the level of involvement they are expected to have in identifying, monitoring and resolving compliance issues. This session will arm bank directors with the information and tactics required to assist their bank in minimizing compliance complications, while also minimizing their personal exposure to liability.
